Phnom Penh: Samdech Thep Thaugdee Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet, on July 2, 2026, presided over the 30th anniversary celebration of the Children’s Smile Organization (PSE) and presented diplomas to 500 students (319 female) who graduated with technical certificates, higher technical diplomas, and technical and vocational diplomas 3 (C3).

The presence of His Majesty the King and His Excellency the President today is a great honor and the most precious encouragement for the children, youth, families, staff, teams, volunteers and all stakeholders who have worked together to fulfill their mission with a sense of responsibility and high dedication, enabling the organization for the smiles of children to continue its mission successfully and sustainably for the past 30 years.
Over the past 30 years, the PSE organization has grown significantly. Starting with distributing food to children at a landfill, the organization has developed into a recognized institution that supports nearly 7,000 children and youth every year. Currently, nearly 1,500 youth, aged 15 and above, are receiving training at PSE’s vocational training school. Here, they will have the opportunity to learn, practice both hard and soft skills. Within three months of graduation, over 95% of the youth have found jobs with decent salaries and are able to earn their own living. To date, 8,000 alumni have graduated from PSE and are actively working in various sectors of the Cambodian labor market.
