Pailin: Five types of technical works by students were exhibited on the occasion of the 9th National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Day 2026 at the Pailin Provincial Vocational Training Center (PLPTC) to showcase the practical skills, technical abilities, and creative ideas of students who have studied and developed in each skill.

The works on display include smart trash cans, forward-stop-reverse motor control systems, solar-powered rice spraying robots, beauty services, and fruit and vegetable processing, all of which are the result of students’ own study, research, and practice.

Mrs. Yeoun Chandy, Director of the Pailin Provincial Vocational Training Center, said: “These works demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and practical application abilities of students who have studied, researched, and developed creative ideas in each skill.”

She said that organizing the exhibition on the occasion of TVET Day is not only to showcase the academic achievements of students, but also to help promote technical and vocational education and training, promote creativity, increase confidence in youth, and link education with the actual needs of the job market.

At the same time, Ms. Yeun Chandy also called on students, youth, and parents to be interested in TVET studies because it is a short-term study that provides real skills, making it easy to get a job or create your own business. She stated that having at least one skill is an important basis for improving family life, increasing labor productivity, and contributing to national economic development, in line with the key strategy of the Royal Government, “Every citizen has at least one skill for life.”
