Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Embassy in the Republic of Korea on May 4, 2026 donated Khmer language textbooks for primary school students from grades 1 to 6 to the Foreigners Support Center in Heungsong, Chungcheongnam-do Province, Korea.

The Khmer textbooks for primary school students from grades 1 to 6 are four in each level, covering subjects including: Khmer language, mathematics, social studies, and science, through teacher Ang Nary, a translator and Khmer language teacher for Khmer-Korean students living in the Hongsong region.

The donation of Khmer textbooks is in response to the center’s need to teach Khmer to Korean-Khmer children so that they can learn to speak and write Khmer.
