Phnom Penh: After presiding over the Independence Day celebration of the State of Israel, Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, continued to receive a courtesy call and discuss work with Dr. Alona Fisher-Kamm, Ambassador of Israel to the Kingdom of Cambodia residing in Bangkok, on the afternoon of June 24, 2026, at the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange views on the implementation of the bilateral agreement on the recruitment of Cambodian workers for temporary work in specific labor market sectors of the State of Israel.

On that occasion, the Minister warmly welcomed Ms. Ban and the delegation and highly appreciated the progress of cooperation between Cambodia and Israel in the past, especially in the fields of employment, human resource development, and vocational training. He emphasized that the current meeting is an important opportunity to update on the progress of cooperation and discuss the preparation and implementation of the employment agreement that both parties have worked hard to negotiate until it is successfully concluded.
