Phnom Penh: The Chinese government, through the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China, has provided the book “China’s National Professional Standards Package” to the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia to support the strengthening of professional standards and the development of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system to be more quality and in line with labor market needs.

The book launch ceremony was held recently at the Koh Pich Exhibition and Convention Center under the chairmanship of Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, and Mr. Wang Wenbin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Cambodia, to demonstrate the close friendship between Cambodia and China.

This book records in detail the skills and evaluation of many positions, divided into different types and skill levels, and is very important in contributing to strengthening national standards for the Cambodian labor market. This book is also a new roadmap for in-depth reform of vocational and technical education in Cambodia.
