The Ministry of Labor will bring job opportunities, social benefits, and free skills training to former soldiers and residents of Banteay Meanchey province this weekend.

Banteay Meanchey: The National Employment and Employment Agency (NEA) of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training will open a job, social security and vocational training forum in Banteay Meanchey province to provide more than 90,000 job opportunities, including social security benefits (SSP) and free technical and vocational training courses to citizens, especially former workers returning from Thailand, on July 03-04, 2026.

According to the Ministry of Labor, the job forum will be held on the Thma Puok District School campus on July 3 and on July 4 at the Phnom Saek District School campus in Banteay Meanchey Province. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about thousands of job opportunities from many large companies and factories, as well as apply for job interviews right at the event location.

In addition to job opportunities, participants will also receive detailed information about social security benefits provided by the Social Security Administration and information about free vocational training courses, including government programs, that can help youth and citizens improve their professional skills and increase their chances of getting good jobs in the country. In addition, participants will receive free food, drinks, and transportation to and from the forum.

At the same time, Mr. Sun Mesa, spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, continues to appeal once again to former workers from Thailand and local residents, especially in border provinces, who wish to find work, to contact 1297 to receive local job opportunities with similar wages, more social benefits, and more security, and to join in the development of their national economy.
